Celebrations
There are so many different celebrations you can use a bagpiper for. Recently I played Happy Birthday as the birthday cake was brought in for one of the richest and most famous men in the world and he said afterwards Happy Birthday on the bagpipes was the best part of the evening. Parties, wedding anniversaries, retirement functions, engagement parties, Burns suppers, St Andrews balls, the list is endless. I once went to Istanbul to play at a christening. Next year I am going to the Netherlands to play at the country's 70th Anniversary of the liberation from Nazi Germany.
